When building Product Sets, sometimes you need to include multiple keywords, exclude others, or combine conditions to describe a very specific set of products.
That’s where using AND and OR operators together gives you more control.
Using AND tells the search to return only products that include all listed terms. For example, searching for “winter AND coat” will return products that include both words, narrowing your results to items that match this criteria.

It’s ideal for building focused sets around specific product types, like “wireless AND headphones” or “running AND sneakers.”
OR works in the opposite direction. It expands your results by including any product that contains at least one of the listed terms. Searching for “black OR white” pulls in both variations at once.

OR is especially useful when you want to capture multiple versions or related products without creating separate searches for each.
The real power comes from mixing them. For example, if you want to find men’s running shoes in multiple colors, you can use:
- winter AND coat
 - black OR white

Combining AND and OR lets you shape product searches with precision, broad enough to capture useful variations but narrow enough to stay relevant.
Start by testing smaller combinations, preview your results, and adjust your logic until the set looks right.
