Hello!

I am a subscriber to your ‘regular’ datafeedr and presently use it on 5 websites. Is this a complete separate product, i.e., do I have to cancel the regular datafeedr to switch to the api? Will I have to rebuild all my stores? Thanks!

    Hi,

Yes, this is a completely separate product.

You don’t have to cancel your Factory subscription however you will need to subscribe to the API to use this new service.

Currently there is not export functionality therefore, for the time being, you will need to rebuild your stores.

Hi Eric, thanks for the fast reply! Do you offer a free trial to this new api/woo commerce datafeed? I would love to give it a try in 1 store… thanks!

Hi,

Sorry but we do not offer a free trial.

Do you have any tutorials on how to set this up? I subscribed to datafeedr based on watching the tutorials you have for the factory. Once I signed up there is no factory that I can find or have been directed to. I’ve installed Woocommerce and I am stumbling through the setup. I am having to piecemeal instructions from different areas and I’m still not really sure I’m on the right path.

Hi there!

I just finished up building my store (http://goo.gl/cRnvJh), with the regular (not API) Datafeedr subscription. Is it possible to use the free Woocommerce plugin combined with the Datafeedr subscription I have right now?

What are the pro’s using Woocommerce compared to the “standard” Datafeedr Store Builder?

Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

Yes, you can use the 2 products on the same site.

The 2 versions are drastically different. Here’s a list of all of the features of the WooCommerce version: http://www.datafeedr.com/wc

Thanks Eric,

But just to be sure:

At this moment I have built the store with a standard Datafeedr account 1 store plan.
As I understand, I can also built a store when I download the Woocommerce plugin, following all instructions, without any additional costs.
If so: if I deactivate the current Datafeedr WP plugin, will all settings be saved? In other words: if Woocommerce seems to technical for me, will the current setup be maintained? (So I don’t have to build the store again..)

Thanks in advance, DS

    Hi,

Sorry, I think I was unclear.

The Datafeedr Factory subscription is separate from the Datafeedr API subscription.

You will also need an account with the Datafeedr API to build a WooCommerce store based on Datafeedr products.

Hi,

I understand you can successfully build affiliate stores with your regular product without being a programmer. The woo version seems so much better … but does it require more technical/programming skills?

Thanks

    Hi,

No it doesn’t… Not unless you want to do custom stuff. But we have lots of snippets for that anyway.

So you can use any of the WooCommerce themes? Which theme did you use to make GearGrabber?

KF - 6 years ago Reply

Hi – I noticed in your demo video that the product count appears beside each filter value. I don’t think this is possible with the regular Datafeedr. If there are zero products for a filter value, does the value appear with a “0” or does it not appear at all?

Eric - 6 years ago Reply

    Hi,

Correct, that’s only possible for categories in the regular Datafeedr.

If there are 0 products for a filter, it does not appear at all.

I noticed your demo store does not have any static pages (eg. About, Privacy, Contact Us) or a blog page. Can these pages be added easily?

Thanks.

Hi Eric,

Should I get an API subscription instead of a “Factory” subscription if I
want to integrate Woocommerce themes and plugins options and filterings ?

I see now it is 2 different products…Can I build it all with the API instead of
the regular subscription ?

Thanks, Amazing Software 🙂

    Hi,

If you want to use the WooCommerce integration, you will only need to purchase an API plan:

Do you offer any installtion service?

Eric - 6 years ago Reply

    Hi,

No, sorry we currently don’t offer installation service.

    Eric

sipho - 6 years ago Reply

Its just that there is an installation service link at the bottom of this page.

Eric - 6 years ago Reply

We don’t offer an installation service for our WooCommerce integration plugin.

We do however offer an installation service for our regular “Factory” version of the plugin.

Hi Eric

I had a few questions about this integration and was hoping you could answer. Having used Woocommerce for some time now, it’s by far my favorite tool for selling online. I was using an Amazon affiliate plugin but it’s quite buggy and hardly works….

Anyways, my basic questions:
1. Does the datafeedr and WOO integration automatically add links to the main menu? I would not want this and was looking to integrate products into both a store, and individual blog posts.
2. Do you run into any issues importing Amazon products?

Thanks!

Can you add a price comparison capability with this API and a Woo commerce theme?
