1 WordPress Integration

Datafeedr is built exclusively for WordPress because WordPress is free, easy to use, search engine optimized and has thousands of free plugins and themes.

Datafeedr integrates with any WordPress theme. You can quickly and easily create a unique looking website without having to edit HTML or CSS to match your website’s design.

Taking advantage of WordPress widgets, Datafeedr comes with many default widgets so you can display store categories, products, product tag clouds, product search forms and other store-related links anywhere your theme allows. This ensures your visitors are only one click away from generating an affiliate sale for you.

2 Saved Search Subscriptions

Datafeedr takes a unique and innovative approach to adding products to your store: Saved Search Subscriptions.

Instead of adding products one by one or importing an entire data feed full of unorganized products to your website, Datafeedr gives you the tools necessary to quickly add only the products you want and none of the ones you don’t.

Datafeedr’s approach exposes an easy to use search form with more than a dozen filters. You can do single word, multi-word, phrasal, exact word and negative word searches to find products to add to your store. After your search is refined and returning exactly the products you want, you save your search.

Once you save your search, a few things happen automatically:

- All of the products returned in your search results will automatically be added to a category in your store.

- If a product in your store expires, it is automatically removed from your store. This ensures that your product list is always up-to-date.

- If a merchant adds a new product to their inventory that matches your saved search subscription, that new product is automatically added to your store. This guarantees you always have new products in your store with no extra effort on your part.

Quickly add exactly the products you want to your store and be confident that your store always has the newest products with the most up-to-date details. Don’t miss a single sale due to broken links or outdated information! You can create as many saved search subscriptions as you need.

3 Automatic Store Updates

Datafeedr has solved one of the most difficult aspects of using imported data feeds: keeping the products on your website up-to-date.

Traditionally, after you import products into your website or database, you must regularly check that all product information is current and accurate. For example, if a merchant changes their products’ affiliate links you will need to update all product links throughout your site or else you won’t earn any commissions for sales you refer. This is time consuming if you have a small store and nearly impossible with a large store.

Datafeedr updates all of the product data in your store regularly at an interval you choose. Set up your store to update once a week, once every three days, daily, or at another interval that suits you. And you don’t have to be around to run the update; it runs automatically.

Rest assured that the product information on your website– prices, descriptions and, most importantly, product affiliate links– will always be up-to-date, giving your visitors the most timely information and saving you hours of time.

4 Database Driven

When displaying your store’s products and categories, your website’s visitors are not the only ones you want to view all of those store pages. You also want search engines such as Google to be able to crawl that content, too. If search engines can’t crawl your pages, potential customers searching for the products you sell won’t find your store.

Google and other search engines can’t “see” content stored in HTML frames or using JavaScript. A lot of other data feed tools display store data that way, but none of that content will be indexed by search engines.

Datafeedr stores are database driven. This means that all of your store’s category and product pages are crawlable and indexable by the search engines. With Datafeedr, none of your store pages are hidden from search engines because, just like your WordPress blog posts, they are pulled from the database. That means every category and every product has its own unique, crawlable, indexable URL.

5 Products from Various Merchants & Networks on One Page

Traditional data feed tools have a couple problems. One common issue is that you can only import one data feed into your website. Another problem, if you are able to import multiple feeds, is that syncing up categories between the various data feeds is impossible. What you end up with is a store with many different categories all displaying the same products… That’s no way to treat your website’s visitors!

With Datafeedr, you can include products from multiple merchants and networks in an organized manner. For example, you can display iPhones from BestBuy, Wal-Mart and TigerDirect all in one category in your store.

Datafeedr makes it easy for you to build an organized, highly curated store and offer the best selection of products to your visitors to keep them coming back.

6 Shortcodes

Shortcodes enable you to put products right in front of your visitors wherever they are on your website.

For example, let’s say you’ve written an article reviewing three different wine bottle openers. You can easily embed those products (along with their image and price) right into your article.

Or, if you’ve written a review of a single product, you can embed a comparison set listing the best prices offered by different merchants right into the top, middle or bottom of your post. Your visitors can click through to the merchant’s site directory right from your blog post or article.

7 Widgets

Your website’s visitors might land on an article or a blog post when they click through from a search engine results page to your site. You still want those visitors to see content from your store, even while viewing a blog post.

Datafeedr has many WordPress widgets that can expose elements of your store on any/every page of your blog. You can have store products appearing to the left or right of that great article your visitor first sees.

You can also display a product search form on every page of your website to give your visitors quick access to products they want. The faster a visitor finds what they’re looking for, the more likely you will convert that visitor into a buyer.

8 Content Spinning

We all know Google and other search engines love unique content. So why not give it to them?

Your store is full of products with descriptions that can be “spun” to create new and unique content for your website.

For example, add the replacement pattern: luxurious, splendid, grandiose as a replacement pattern and the sentence “…one of the city’s most luxurious hotels…” might become “…one of the city’s most splendid hotels…” or “…one of the city’s most grandiose hotels…”.

Simply add your own replacement patterns and your product names and descriptions will be updated with new, unique names and descriptions. Substituting is based on your own custom replacement patterns and works for any language.

9 Product Dripping

In a perfect world, you’d have time to each day to a add a new blog post to your website. New content keeps visitors and search engines regularly coming back.

But often we don’t have time to update our blog. That’s where product dripping comes in. Set up the drip so that products from your store are automatically posted as new blog posts, one at a time, at an interval you choose.

You can drip any product from your store or drip only products from a specific category. You can configure products to be dripped at any interval you like. For example, you can drip products once every 3 to 6 hours, or once every 24-36 hours or once a week.

10 Advanced Product Finding Functionality

Some of your website’s visitors will casually browse your store while others will want to find what they are looking for quickly because they are ready to buy. For the visitor who is ready to buy, Datafeedr has advanced browsing features such as ordering product lists by price, name, popularity, etc…

In addition to sorting products, your visitors can use the Advanced Search widget. Through this widget, visitors can search your store by specific elements such as product name, keyword, price, brand and other parameters. Increase your earnings by exposing your products when and how your visitors want to see them.

11 Custom Products

Datafeedr has aggregated over 200 million products from over 10,000 merchants and 29 affiliate networks for you to use when building your store. In most cases, we already have the product that you want to promote.

We also provide a way for you to add your own custom products to your store.

Add all of the information you require such as the product’s name, description, price, images, merchant name, etc… Your custom products will be displayed in the category you choose alongside the rest of your products. Integration is seamless.

12 Comparison Sets

Users on the verge of buying a product online will usually complete their shopping by trying to find the best price for the product they want to buy. This last stage in the shopping process can be frustrating and time consuming because the shopper usually has to visit many websites, keep track of the best price and then make their purchase decision.

Datafeedr lets you create comparison sets for any product in your store so that your visitors can see prices from different merchants all in one place… on your website. This enables you to increase conversions and revenue by being the one-stop shopping destination for the products you promote.

13 Easy Installation/Upgrading

Installing the Datafeedr plugin on your WordPress blog is simple and just requires a few clicks. Upgrading the Datafeedr plugin is even easier. In one click, you can upgrade the plugin to take advantage of the new features and functionality that we release every couple of months.

14 Control over HTML/CSS

Datafeedr provides built-in store templates with every store you create. Your store will look great as soon as you import it into your website.

But we also know some of you want more control over how pages are displayed, therefore we also provide a full interface to modify any element in your store. You have access to nearly all of the HTML as well as the ability to override your store’s default CSS.

Want more power? You can also add your own PHP to your pages to further customize your visitor’s experience and create a truly unique store design and browsing experience.

15 Sub ID Tracking

After you build your store and start getting sales, you’ll want to know how those buyers landed on your website and what they purchased.

For each visitor who visits your store Datafeedr passes a unique tracking ID to the sub ID parameter in the affiliate links (if the affiliate network supports a sub ID parameter) so that when a sale is made on your website you are able to see when the buyer landed on your website, what page they landed on and where they were referred from. This will help you determine which pages on your website or in your store are converting the best so that you can add more of that high-converting content.

16 Bulk Operations

Do you need to create hundreds of categories? Do you have many search terms to build product searches from and need to add many search subscriptions quickly? Datafeedr supports bulk operations. Through an XML-like format, you can build large stores in just a few minutes. Cut down on the repetitive tasks such as category and subscription creation. With bulk operations you can save time and build your store faster so you have more time to market and promote your website.

17 Modify Product Fields

By default, each product from a merchant usually has a name, description, price, image, thumbnail and other informative fields. Using Datafeedr, you have full control over this product data. Whether you want to increase the amount of unique content in your store or just modify what the merchant has provided, you will be able to edit the product’s name, tweak its description, add your own images, add product specifications and more. No matter what information the merchant provides in their data feed, you have control over what is displayed in your store.

18 Coupons

Datafeedr supports merchant coupons. Coupons help to increase sales by encouraging your visitors to buy while the products are on sale or a discount code is available.

Datafeedr enables you to display available coupons for products or merchants in your store. You can also create store categories solely for displaying coupons. Another creative use is to drip coupons and special deals to your blog as blog posts.

Everybody likes a discount or special price. Show deals to your website’s visitors when they are ready to buy and increase your affiliate revenue.

19 Pricing

We offer 3 different plans depending on how many stores you want to create: 1 Store Plan, 5 Store Plan or Unlimited Store Plan. All plans offer all features.
